Julia married Charles Henry Hopper (1878-1966) in Rabun County, Georgia on May 27, 1900. The couple had three children: Olga Hopper Alexander (1907-1995), James Mylo Hopper (1910-1979) and Durward Hopper (1912-1976). After their marriage, and by 1910, Julia and Charles had moved to Macon County, North Carolina. In 1920 they were living in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. The censuses of 1930 and 1940 show them living in York, South Carolina. By 1960 Julia and Charles were residing in Charlotte, North Carolina. The informant for Julia's death certificate was her daughter, Olga Alexander, wife of Dewey E. Alexander.
