Mrs. Crafts is preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. M. Crafts, of 63 years; sisters, Helen Butler Hebert and Nell Butler Crew; and brothers, Leon Butler and Raymond Butler.
She is survived by two children, daughter, Grace Miriam Crafts Faust of Shreveport, La.; and son, Charles Gregory Crafts and wife, Beth of Huxley, Tx; 3 grandchildren, Matthew Faust and Lisa Faust of Tampa, FL.; Miriam Faust Bucy of Shreveport, LA.; Brad Crafts and wife Heather from San Marcos, TX.; 4 great- grandchildren, Lauren Faust and Julian Faust-McKinney of Shreveport; Carsten and Roland Faust of Tampa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
"Gigi" to her family, was a very loyal, caring person and a devout catholic. She was savvy businesswoman, which was unusual for her time, especially in the south. Always charming and witty and dressed "to the nines," her favorite saying was, "I can forgive you anything but being dull. There is no excuse for it."
