Rites in Sweetwater for Mrs. Collins, 94
Sweetwater, Jan. 9 - Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Methodist Church here for Mrs. Josephine Collins, 94, former resident of Sweetwater.
She died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lola Weehunt, in Fort Worth shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday.
The Rev. J. Edmund Kirby, pastor, will officiate, assisted by Dr. O. P. Clark, Methodist District Superintendent. Burial will be in the Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of Cate-Spencer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Collins was the mother of Mrs. Otto Carter, Sr. of Sweetwater, and the grandmother of Otto Carter, Jr. of Abilene.
Survivors are four sons, Boyd Collins and Joe Collins of Fort Worth, W. G. Collins and Eldon Collins of Wichita Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Weehunt and Mrs. Carter; and several grandchildren.
