Sadie Julie (Lightfoot) Clanton, 90, of Sweetwater died Sunday in Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Perkins officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Mrs. Clanton was born May 3, 1904, in Mexia, and married James C. Clanton on Aug. 6, 1928, in Sweetwater. She was retired from the Housekeeping Department of Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of Highland Heights United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Cora Bradshaw of Sweetwater and Myrtle Lightfoot of Spring; a brother, Bill Lightfoot of Sweetwater; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James, on Oct. 10, 1962.

Pallbearers will be Morris Jones, James Taylor, Charles Kreisher, John Aken, Curtis Barnett and Jim Henderson.
