Nellie A. Bryant
Nellie Alice Bryant was born November 30, 1907, at Hope, North Dakota. In 1909 she with her family moved back to Plattville.
She receive her elementary education in Kendall county schools, at Lisbon Center, also graduating from the Yorkville High School. Later she went to Chicago to work, and in this area she spent the most of her life.
While in the city working she found time to complete a course and graduate from the Chicago Evangelistic Institute. Since these days she has worked in Chicago suburbs.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her mothers, three brothers, Harlan of Genoa, Morris of Newark and Alfred of Batavia, one sister, Mrs. Elsie Nichols of St. Charles and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 15 at 1:30 p.m. from the Larson Funeral Home in Yorkville with the Rev. Eugene M. Wykie of Deerfield officiating. Mrs. Blanch Fitch played several organ selections. Pallbearers were Richard Naden, James Farnham, Seth Tyner, Jewel Burner, William Clark and Robert Nichols. Internment was made in the Plattville Cemetery.
