Born March 11, 1936 in Rockton, PA, he was the son of the late T. Cletus & Roxie (Brubaker) Hendricks.
On May 14, 1957, he married Dorothy (Swauger) Hendricks. She survives.
Daniel retired from the Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad after 31 years of service. Previous to that, he worked for Fairman Drilling and also worked as a Union Laborer in the building trade.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rockton. He was a life member of the Union Township Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of the Garfield Lodge #559 Free and Accepted Masons, Coudersport Consistory. He loved to hunt and fish.
Daniel is survived by three sons, Richard E. Hendricks, Jeffrey D. Hendricks and his wife, Brenda, and Daniel D. Hendricks, a brother, Thomas Hendricks and his wife, Mary Ann and a sister, Geraldine Spicher, all of Rockton, PA, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William C Hendricks and two infant siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 10 A.M. from the Goble Baronick
Funeral Home with Pastor Jennifer Gonsalves officiating.
Burial will be in Rockton Cemetery.
