Miss Clara Bennett Rites Set Today
Sweetwater - Miss Clara Bennett, 88, died at 6 a.m. Wednesday at Edgecliff Manor Nursing Home after a long illness.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Cate-Spencer Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sweetwater Cemetery.
She was born March 16, 1882, in Marietta, Ga. She taught school in Nolan County in the early 1900's and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. W.R. Kelly of Sweetwater and Mrs. S.A. Driggers of Trent; a brother, Henry L. Bennett of Sweetwater; and several nieces and nephews.
