Mr. Gatlin was born on July 1, 1951 in McComb, MS. He was the son of Oscar Otto Gatlin and Marietta Wallace Gatlin. He was a retired industrial Electrician and was self employed for many years. He loved fishing especially for white perch. He also enjoyed going camping. He was a member of Montgomery Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Maryanna Virginia Summers.
Survivors include his wife of five years, Debra Montgomery Gatlin of Bogue Chitto, MS; one son, Ben Gatlin of McComb; one daughter, Mignonne "Lisa" Sanders of McComb; one sister, Gail Sasser and husband Steve of Bogue Chitto; seven grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Charlie and Bill Sanders, Rachel Gatlin and Isaac Summers, Jacob Swenson and Bailey Swenson and one one great grandchild, Helenna Nevaeh Atkins.
Pallbearers will be Andy Brown, Gordon Wallace, Paul Gatlin, David Moak, Eugene Moak, Charlie Wallace and Rick Adams.
