Mrs. Bland was born the daughter of Johnnie W. Conner of Wilmington and the late Mary Elizabeth Denton Conner. She was a member of Cape Fear Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Bland was a Respiratory Therapist with New Hanover Regional Medical Center for twelve years.
Survivors in addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Steve Bland; two sons, Brian Bland and Eric Bland both of Wilmington; three brothers, Danny Conner of Wilmington, Robert Conner of Jamestown, N.C., Grady Conner of Dallas, Tx; a sister, Linda Tartt of Wilmington.
