Two years after Charles died in 1978, Loretta quit teaching school at age 62,

Memorials services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2001 at the
Boston Avenue United Methodist Church in Tulsa, OK, led by her three children,
the Rev. Paul B. Mitchell of Topeka, KS; Charles F. Mitchell of San Diego, CA;
and Mary R. Burrows of Sweetwater, TX. Internment will be in Memorial Park

between Loretta's and Charles' names on the same headstone.
