He says he enlisted in June 1861 and served with Company C of the 18th GA regiment. He was paroled from Newport News Prison in July 1865. His wife Lucy, also has pension applications. She says they married in 1859 and she was born in S. C. in 1836. She has pension applications under Gwinnett and Fulton Counties and gives her husbands death as July 1898 in Gwinnett County.
