Snider, Rosamond Winnifred “Rose” of Tremont passed away at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on Monday, November 2, 2015 surrounded by her family. Born in Brickton, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Winnifred (Bezanson) White. Rose worked as a master hair stylist in her early years and was a former Apple Blossom princess for Kingston. In later years, she worked as an addiction counsellor in Kentville. Rose enjoyed country and gospel music performing at many fundraisers for churches and people in need. She sang in many variety shows throughout the years and throughout the Annapolis Valley and was a member of several musical groups such as The White Family, Neighbours, The Nighthawks and Val-Lee-Rose. Rose was a very kind, loving wife, mother and friend to everyone. She will be sadly missed by everyone she came in contact with. She is survived by her husband Don; daughters Holly Keith, Bridgetown; Heather Best, Meadowvale; sons, Dan (Tammy) Snider, Westville; Donny Snider (Sherry Bezanson), South Greenwood; Ricky Snider, Greenwood; sister Lee (Ed) Boutilier, Meadowvale; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Rose was predeceased by brothers Richard White and Allan White. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, November 4th in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. (902) 825-3448. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 5th in Church of the Nazarene in Tremont, officiated by Pastor Neil Armstrong. Interment will be in Tremont Cemetery, with a reception following for family and friends at New Beginnings Church, 1151 Bridge St., Greenwood.
