Peggy Rose Adams Anderson, 72, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015.
The funeral service will be conducted Friday at 1:30 pm in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel, officiated by her pastor, Rev. Connie Newton. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Peggy, a native of Pitt County, had been a lifelong resident of Greenville. She was employed with Burroughs Wellcome for 19 years, in the Distribution Department, retiring in 1995. She had also been employed by Grady White Boats for 4 years, and was a member of the Family Life Tabernacle.
Peggy had a loving, caring, and friendly spirit, making friends with all those she met. She always enjoyed having her family together, whether she was cooking a large meal for them to share or traveling to a vacation destination together. She loved spending her time providing good times to draw her family together.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Troy R. Anderson, father, Tom Church Adams, brother, Bobby Adams and a sister, Linda Sutton.
She is survived by her sons, Danny Anderson and wife, Julie, of Winterville, Allen Anderson, of Greenville, and Marty Anderson and wife, Dana, of Ayden; grandchildren, Michael and wife, Ashley, Jessica, Cory and wife, Kelly, Ginger, Arianna, Erika, Ashley, Alexis and Layla; great-grandchildren, Zachery, Valerie, Hailey, Kaylin, Scarlette and Carley Ray; mother, Rosa King Adams; and brother, Thomas Adams, both of Greenville; a sister, Ella Norris and husband, Donald, of Alliance; and her very special friend, Dan Bradley, of Hobgood.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at Wilkerson Funeral Home and at other times at her home.
