Dee was the daughter of the late Pearl Dean Ford and Violet Estella Ford. She is predeceased by her brothers, John L. Ford and Henry R. Ford.
She is survived by her sister Marjorie Ford. She was the loving mother of son Thomas B. Collins and wife Tracy, and granddaughters Samantha and Madison Collins of Lineboro, Md.; daughter Deanne Michelle Adams and husband Greg, grandson Taylor Adams, and granddaughter Terra Adams of Aspers; and daughter Cheryl Jenny Hall and husband Steve Hoff, and grandson Levi Hall of Seven Valleys. Dee leaves behind her companion of 22 years and love of her life Timothy Ryan.
Dee worked for more than 30 years for the U.S. Federal Government and retired as a Budget Analyst from the U.S. Department of Energy in Germantown, Md. in 1996. Dee enjoyed all things outdoors, especially trail riding her horses, breeding mules, gardening, canning, fishing, refinishing furniture, and spending time at her cabin in Sullivan County. She had a special love of all animals. She also loved to travel. Dee had an adventurous spirit and was a generous donor to a multitude of charities. She will be sorely missed by her friends and family.
