Julia Lynne Turner Walker age 58 of Sparta passed away Friday afternoon, October 5, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Dale Bradley West and Keturah Friday West Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 children, Shannon and Tonya Turner; 2 Sisters, Judy BerBerkmoes and Janice Munson; Brother, Dale West. And late husband Jerry Wayne Turner. Julia worked at Wilmar Market. She is survived by her husband, Dwight Walker of Sparta; Son, Tim (Pam) Turner of Cookeville, and step-children, Shana (Dennis) Speck and Chad Walker of Sparta; Grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua Speck, Hunter and Kloee Walker, Thea Anderson, Corey (Alisha K.) Turner, Sherry (Joe) Daniels, Sonya (William) Cantrell, Sabrina (Billy) Parker; 1 Sister, Joyce Gould of Michigan; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted 11:AM Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and interment to follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday 10:AM until 8:PM and Tuesday 9:AM until the time of the service at 11:AM. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
