Mr. Tommy Hunter, 68, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, in the Kindred Hospital North Florida, Green Cove Springs, FL, following an extended illness. Mr. Hunter was born Dec. 13, 1946, in Echols County, GA to the late James Thomas Hunter, Sr. and Beulah Mae Deloach Hunter. He was an electrician for Anheuser-Busch Canning Factory and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by one brother: James Thomas Hunter, Jr. and one sister: Bonna Faye Hunter Stalvey. Survivors are two daughters: Haley Stroupe, Jacksonville, FL and Tracee Brown, Hahira, GA; one brother: Walter Hunter, Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Graveside services for Mr. Hunter will be held Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, at eleven o’clock in the Boney Bluff Cemetery, Echols County. Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
