Carrie Elizabeth Hughes, 77, died Sunday, June 17,1990 at Hardin County General Hospital. Born in Hardin County, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Etta Tanner Pinson. She was married to Lee Hughes who preceded her in death in 1983. Services were Tuesday. June 19, at 11 a.m. in Shackelford Chapel with burial in Graham Cemetery. David Kingsley officiated. She leaves a son, Jack Pinson of Savannah; three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Paulk, Mrs. Frances Hill and Mrs. Bessie Austin, all of Savannah; three brothers, James and Joe Pinson, all of Savannah; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
