Christine Christensen was born in Thisted, Denmark September 11, 1866 to Soren Peder Christensen and Else Marie Thogersen. She emigrated to the United States in 1883 and went to Wisconsin. There she married Solomon Thompson July 24, 1885. They had two children in Wisconsin, Minnie and Ernest, before moving to Chicago around 1890. They had 8 more children in Chicago. Solomon died in 1919 and Christine married Joseph Bach in 1923 in Kane County, Illinois. Joseph died in 1930 and Christine again remarried, to Charles Anderson who survived her. She died July 11, 1937, and was buried in Oak Woods Cemetery in the Thompson family plot. The only headstone on the 8 grave plot is that of Joseph John Bach, Christine's second husband.
