ASHEBORO Roy Lee Parks, 78, of Arrowwood Road, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at Randolph Hospital.
A graveside service was held at Randolph Memorial Park with the Rev. Clay Davis officiating.
He was a Randolph County native, Army veteran and home builder.
Surviving are his wife, Louise W. Parks of the home; son, Tony Parks of Summerfield; brother, Ernest Parks Jr. of Asheboro; one grandson; two great-granddaughters.
