Janet Jackson Machen, born June 27, 1924, died in Little Rock on November 13, 2015 at Hospice Home Care. She was the daughter of Thomas Leslie and Leckie Jeanne Jackson of Harrison, Arkansas. Janet grew up in Harrison and attended the University of Arkansas for one year. She then moved to Washington, DC and took a job with the FBI. Later she moved to Memphis and worked at the air base there.
In 1945 she married Bevie Lee Machen, a pilot, who preceded her in death in 2014.
