She was born August 30, 1968 to Eileen and Tony Ramsey of Des Moines, Iowa. It was a big, loving family, and there she learned the value of life and the traditional values she carried with her all her life.
She was a one in a million personality. A great wife, mother, aunt, and friend to all of humanity.
Misty was a woman of great personal strength and ability. She was loving, yet tough. Down to earth, yet spiritual. Streetwise, and educated in many things.
She could be very serious but was tremendously funny. She was a homemaker, a wife, a dancer, a pugilist, a comedienne, an advocate for the less fortunate, a great cook and a spiritualist. But above all, she loved family. No one on earth ever loved their children and family more than Misty. She loved and nurtured and cared for her babies with a joy unsurpassed by anyone. Her children: Nick, Cora Lee, Scotty, Anita, Jack, and Isabelle, step children Tony and Forest, were her passion. The values she taught and passed along to her kids are her legacy, and will serve each and every one well. She would want all of us left behind to honor her by living up to those values. She is with God now and will be there to greet you when your day comes.
Misty is survived by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eileen Anita Harlan Ramsey, and her stillborn son, Jacob Nicholas Paul Frederick LaRue.
