Rooster, age 18, of Rocky Point, and Wilmington, died at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He is the son of Mark A. and Glenda Stocks Sr. He was a active member of the Pine Valley Church of God where he served as a church musician in the Pine Valley Youth Ministry. He was an award winning recipient of the Eastern North Carolina Teen Talent competition in the electric guitar category.
Mark's Vision was to serve the Lord through ministry in every possible way. He enjoyed working with his peers in Youth Ministry and Street Ministry as well as helping to create a passion of his, a Christian Racing Team.
He attended Cape Fear Community College and hoped one day to follow in the footsteps of both his Father and Grandfather in becoming a Land Developer. He enjoyed the outdoors and photography.
