Alice J. Stewart, 38, of Carpenter, died Sunday afternoon, April 5, 1987, at the Carbondale Manor.
She was born in Carpenter, a daughter of Catherine (Puncher) Carter of East Alton and the late Raymond L. Carter.
Besides her mother, surviving are a son, Terry Stewart of Divernon; a daughter, Denise Stewart of Divernon; a brother, Raymond Carter of Worden; and two sisters, Mary Raulston of Edwardsville and Christine Griffing of Virginia Beach, Va.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Dauderman Mortuary in Hamel, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. John Fuchs.
Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery at Carpenter.
Memorials may be made to the Huntington Foundation or Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
