Dennis "Butch" Milligan, 59, died Sunday, January 11, 2004. He was retired from the Louisville Police Department after 20 years of service. He was a member of Lodge #6 Fraternal Order of Police, Elks Lodge #8 and Louisville Police Officers Association and founding president of J&H Sportsman Club.
He is survived by his sons, Shawn Milligan and Darrell Milligan; daughter, Marlene Koenig of Lamar, IN; father, Edward Milligan of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Kelli Milligan-
Bader; and grandchildren, Alex, Madison and Kora Milligan and Wyatt Koenig.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3926 Poplar Level Rd., with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Herman Meyer & Son, 1338 Ellison Ave.
Memorial gifts may go to the American Diabetes Association.
