Arthur "Art" L. Jenkins

Fruitland-Arthur L. Jenkins, 88, of Fruitland, MD passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Born October 18, 1927 in Salisbury, MD he was the son of the late Blanche and Frank Jenkins. His wife, Ethel V. Jenkins of 61 years preceded him in death in 2011. He is survived by three children, Sandy Smith, Linda Jenkins, and Frank Jenkins; one Sister, Betty Elliott; Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren; numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Art was an honored WWII United States Navy Veteran and loved his country, his wife and family. He spent as much time as he could boating, fishing, and anything to do with the shores of the peninsula. He was self-employed for forty years as a painter. In addition to his parents and loving wife, he is also preceded in death by two Sons, Wayne Jenkins, and Gary Jenkins; one Brother William T.
