John Richard Henegar, 69, of LaFollette, died Saturday at Anderson County Health Care Center, Clinton. He was of the Baptist faith, a Veteran of World War II, and a retired miner.

Mr. Henegar is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma Henegar, LaFollette; five daughters, Mrs. Faye Wisway, Van Nyes, California, Mrs. Arlis Chapman, LaFollette, Mrs. Annette Huffman, Palastine, Texas, Mrs. Carolyn Gigilo, Lakeland, Fla., and Mrs. Brenda Bragg, Orlando, Fla.; four sons, Bill Henegar, Barto, Fla., Sonny Henegar, Wichula Hills, Fla., Lonnie Henegar, Van Nyes, Ca., and Fred Henegar, LaFollette; 38 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Nannie Shears, Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Margaret White, Knoxville, and Mrs. Faye Richardson, Jacksboro; and one brother, Claude Henegar, Jellico.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. Tuesday at Walter's Chapel with the Rev. V. H. Shears officiating. Interment was in Campbell Memorial Gardens.

Walters Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.
