Roger Vaughn Decker, age 64, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012.
Funeral Services for Roger will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dar Blanshan officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Community Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Roger was born on December 26, 1947 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Maxwell and Rosalena (Strong) Decker. Roger proudly served his country as a Sergent in the United States Army.
Roger is survived by his children, Rachel Decker and Robin Decker; mother and stepfather, Rose and Duane Wolfgang; brother, Loren (Sandy) Decker; sister, Bonnie (David) Bozong; ex-wife, Ruth Barker; and many nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his father and sister, Sharon Langlois.
