home on Seminary street, last Sunday
night, April 3, 1949.
Mrs. Jones was born April 20, 1872,
in Dryden, the daughter of Harry and
Margaret VanSickle Phinney. She was
twice married.
She is survived by four sons, Raymond Dennis of Maryland, Leon Dennis of Fabius, Clarence Dennis of
New Woodstock, and Ira Dennis of
Syracuse; sixteen grandchildren;
three great grandchildren; two brothers, Harry Phinney of Cortland, and
John Phinney of Cuyler.
Funeral services were conducted
from the Smith Funeral Home, DeRuyter today, at
2:00 o'clock, the
Rev. Clifford E .Webb, pastor of the
local Federated Church officiating.
Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery, Fabius
