Donna Marie Galloway, 58, of Boise died peacefully at home and went to be with Jesus on Aug. 7, 2006. Donna was born in Laurel, MT on Nov. 18, 1947 and soon after moved to Weiser, ID, where she was raised.
She graduated from Weiser High School in 1966 and then attended and graduated from cosmetology school in 1967. During cosmetology school Donna met, fell in love with and married the love of her life, Ronald Gordon Galloway on April 20, 1968.
With Donna doing hair and Ron driving truck they adopted their first daughter Danielle in 1975 and then had their second daughter Cindy in 1978.
Donna's love for life and her family was very evident. She enjoyed camping, traveling, bowling, collecting frogs, shopping with her sisters and especially vacationing with her grandchildren. She loved family gatherings and had a hug and a smile for everyone. Donna was the matriarch of the family and will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
Donna is survived by her husband, Ron of Boise, ID; daughter Danielle and her husband Alex Schwendiman of Boise, ID; daughter Cindy Mawby of Boise, ID; four grandsons; sisters, Shirley (& Jim) Williams of Weiser, ID; Jeanette Kautz of Boise, ID; brothers, George (& Emmajean) Kautz of Weiser, ID; and Tim (& Terri) Kautz of Weiser, ID.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents Anna and Benjamin Kautz.
Funeral services are Aug. 11, 2006 at the Eagle Church of the Nazarene, Eagle, ID. Burial will follow at the Idaho State Veteran's Cemetery, Boise. Arrangements by Accent Funeral Home, Meridian, ID.
