Services for Jordan Scott Woodard, 82, Linda Drive, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Earl Grace officiating.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery

Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until time for the service.

He died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, Katy, Texas, following a long illness.

A native of Wilmore, he was born Feb. 29, 1928, the son of the late Granville C. Woodard Sr. and Olivia Prather Woodard.

He was retired, having worked as superintendent of paving at Dixie Pavers and later for the Rogers Group.

He was a Korean War Air Force veteran and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

His wife, Marie Harper Woodard, died in 2000.

Survivors include two sons, Scott Woodard, Katy, Rodney Woodard, Cumming, Ga., and five grandchildren.
