R.E. Headrick Dead

R.E. Headrick, one of Cowley county's prominent farmers died last evening at his home 1 and 1-4 miles north of Island Park, at ten o'clock, after an illness of a number of years with a complication of diseases. During the past year he has spent most of the time in California for the benefit of his health, returning to Winfield the latter part of January.

At the time of his death he was fifty-one years of age. The family came here seven years ago from Greenville, Tenn., and are among the highly respected residents of Cowley county.

Mr. Headrick is survived by a wife and five children, Lucy, Grace, Herbert, Luke and Cecil.

No funeral arrangements have yet been made awaiting the arrival of relatives from Tennessee.
