Services for Billie Clayton, 76, Pyle Lane, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Drs. David Gardner and Rodney Travis officiating.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight.

She died at 4 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at Vanderbilt University Hospital, Nashville, Tenn., following a long illness.

A native of Dickson, Tenn., she was born Nov. 8, 1924, the daughter of the late Thomas G. and Ellie Lee. She was co-owner of Clayton's Jewelry Store, was a member of the Casky Homemakers Club and the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Henry C. Clayton; two sons, Mike Clayton, Houston, Texas, Terry Clayton, Huntsville, Ala.; a daughter, Patti Clayton Mahoney, Hopkinsville; a sister, Arlie Pearl Graham, Fayetteville, Ga.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
