He and George Young were among 72 passengers on a 707 jet airliner that crashed near Bussels, Belgium. The two men were flying to Libya to work for an oil field construction company.
Survived by his wife - Mrs. Lucille Alexander; two children - Paula Alexander and William Alexander; his mother; three sisters - Mrs. Ida Riggins, Mrs. James Cude, Mrs. Irene Hogan; three brothers - Kenneth Alexander, Iva Alexander, William Earl Alexander; one half-brother - Charlie Jennings.
