Memorial service for FREDDIE J. ROGERS, 73, of Tipton, will be at 2 p.m., Saturday at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick with the Rev. Royce Couch officiating.
Mr. Rogers died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006, in Altus.
He was born Jan. 21, 1933, southeast of Snyder, to George William and Sarah Hickman Rogers. He attended Tipton Public Schools and was a mechanic.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, George and Elaine Rogers of Frederick, and Kenneth and Traci Rogers of Harrah; two daughters, Myra Jean Birrer of Pueblo, Colo., and Jo Lynn Kay of Altus; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Lola Rogers of Frederick,, Joyce and Faye Rogers of Ponca City, and Frankie and Diana Rogers of Tipton; a sister, Rosie Badillio of Clinton; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Floyd, Clarence and Bobby Rogers; and three sisters, Myrtle Vaughan, Bonnie Ridder and Nellie Mae Clark.
