Georgia Arlene White, age 82, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab Center.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday March 1, 2018 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery with Dr. Chris Stephens officiating. McCoy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born May 9, 1935 at Nolan, Texas to the late George Ernest and Lottie Mae (England) Carey. Georgia married Ben L. "Buster" White June 3, 1955 in Sweetwater. She was a homemaker, member of Lamar Street Baptist Church and had lived in Nolan County most of her life.
Georgia is survived by her sisters, Ruby Sellers and husband Ernest of Plains, Texas and Gladys Lamb of Georgetown, Texas; brother, Loyd Carey and wife Judy of Florida; first cousin, Leon McElyea of Sweetwater and several other cousins.
She is also preceded in death by her husband "Buster", April 26, 2016 and her son Michael Ray White May 20, 1995.
