She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her father, Richard B. Schmidt Jr., of Springfield; mother, Elizabeth S. Miller of Springfield; stepfather, John J. Miller II of Springfield; sister; stepsister; grandparents, Mrs. Onida Kotek of Ottawa; John J. Miller of Springfield; Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Schmidt of Joice, Iowa.
