Pauline Phillips Dempsey, 86, of Shreveport, LA passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Willis Knighton Pierrmont Health Center in Shreveport, LA. She was born December 10, 1928 in Rosston, AR to the late Foster Phillips, Sr. and Irene (Whiddon) Phillips.
She worked as Land Lease Office Manager for various oil companies. During her career she became a Certified Professional Secretary and received several awards from oil companies. She enjoyed working with her hands with sewing, making crafts, and pottery.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles Aubrey Dempsey, Sr.; and sister Dorothy Phillips Beene.
She is survived by her son Charles A. Dempsey, Jr. of Stonewall, LA; grandchildren Robin Dempsey and Charles A. Dempsey, III; great grandchild Liam Dogan all of Shreveport, LA; one niece, several cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 2PM to 3PM at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR with graveside services following at 3PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
