Katie went home to the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was raised in Lemoore, CA, and attended Lemoore area schools.

She met her best friend, and love of her life, Ryan, at Lemoore High School, and they began a beautiful life together at 16 years of age.

Katie graduated from Lemoore High School in 2001, attended college at West Hills College in Precision Ag. Katie married Ryan in 2005, and they enjoyed ten wonderful years of marriage.

She worked in the Precision Ag Industry for two years. For the past eight years, Katie farmed with her husband and in-laws. Katie was an extremely hard worker, an astute business women who considered persons she did business with friends.

She was a friend to anyone who needed one, and once in conversation with her you could not help but fall in love with her warmth, beautiful smile, and laughter, it was contagious. Katie's talents varied and were as far reaching from amateur hairdresser to anyone who needed hair done for a wedding or prom to floral design. Katie loved to travel with her husband to different parts of the world, United States, and frequently to the Central Coast, Shell Beach, San Luis Obispo area, and to Shaver Lake.

Katie's greatest calling in life was to be a wife and mother to three beautiful children, Charles age seven, Savannah, age five, and Claire, age three. Katie loved to be involved and watch her children in all their activities. From taking them to preschool and working in the classroom, to watching a swim meet, ski race or watching a dance class. Katie was proud that her children are very loving and cared so much for others.

Katie lived her life to the very fullest every single moment. She worked hard, played hard and loved a lot of people. Katie's life on this earth, though short, she lived more life in 32 years than most people do in 95! The one word that would describe Katie is selfless. Katie always put others before herself. Katie would rather buy a gift for a friend "just because" than buy anything for herself. Or if you mentioned you liked something to her, you shouldn't be surprised if it showed up on your door step the next morning. Katie truly had a servants heart. Any favor asked was never too big.

Katie leaves behind her beloved husband Ryan; three beautiful kids, Charles, Savannah, and Claire of Lemoore; parents, Jean and Debbie Etchebehere of Lemoore; parents, Bret and Susan Ferguson of Lemoore; and siblings, Eliza Guzman, Christen Fernandes, and Pete Etchebehere, all of Lemoore, and Anne Etchebehere of San Jose, CA. Katie also leaves behind four brothers and sisters-in-law; and nine nieces and nephews. Katie was a shining light in this world and will be deeply missed by anyone who ever met her.
