Carol Lynn Casey, 74, of Topeka, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015. She was born July 9, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Fred and Nora (Shaw) Wulff. Carol was raised in Milwaukee, attended Immanuel Lutheran School through the 8th grade and graduated from Riverside High School in 1959.
Carol married Thomas J. Casey on August 4, 1975 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2004. The couple made their home in Milwaukee and in Arizona for a while, before moving to Topeka. She was employed by Walmart and was a volunteer at the VA Medical Center.
Carol enjoyed working on puzzle books and completing word finds.
Carol is survived by her sister, Beverly Schulz of Brown Deer, WI; niece, Patrice Hafenmeister of West Bend, WI and close friend, Melanee Allison of Wakarusa, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas.
Carol was cremated. A private committal will be held at a later date at Leavenworth National Cemetery where her husband is interred.
