DENNIS G. STEPHENS, age 93, of Yauger Road, Mount Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his residence.

He was born on June 19, 1922 in India the son of David F. and Evelyn (Mayan) Stephens. Dennis served in the British Indian Army of Engineers from 1941 to 1946 and retired in 1980 after 32 years of employment as an engineer with the India Railroad. He was actively involved with both the Remnant Christian Fellowship and Berean Faith Fellowship churches.

Dennis is survived by his children, Lalini Raj of Big Stone Gap, Virginia, Rupa Paul of Port McNeill, B.C. Canada, Joseph Stephens of Montreal, Canada, Sunil Stephens of the Philippines and Samuel Stephens of Austin, Texas, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Lindela (Herbert) Stephens.

Friends may call on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio, 43050 where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Pastor Gordy Harmon will be officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
