MEDWAY - Rodney Earl Scott Sr., 65, passed away Dec. 28, 2009, at a Millinocket hospital after a short battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 16, 1944, in Sanford, son of Albert and Belva (Osnoe) Scott. He grew up in Medway, graduated from Schenck High School and joined the Army. Rod worked for GNP. He volunteered as a firefighter; Little League; BSA, Sherman Station and Biddeford - TR 309; and Conservation Committee. He was a member of DAV and served as selectman in Medway. He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Eugene Scott. He is survived by four children, Edwin, Erwin and wife, Karen, Rodney Jr. and wife, Jessica, and Julie; their mother, Angie (Beaulieu) Scott; grandchildren, Matthew and Sara and their mother, Susan, Bridget, Ethan, Joshua and Amanda; great-grandson, Lucas; sister-in-law, Elaine; and brothers, Albert and wife, Pauline, and Wayne and wife, Carla; companion, Cerise Montgomery; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, Jan 4, 2010, at Calvary Temple, Assembly of God, 2 Orchard St., East Millinocket. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Calvary Temple with the Rev. Regginal Adams officiating. There will be a memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan 9, 2010, at Seacoast Chapel, 228 Buxton Road, Saco.
