Adeline K. Slabaugh, 90, of 171A Sensenig Rd., Ephrata, PA, formerly of McGaheysville, VA, died at her home on Thursday, November 12. Her husband, Eli M. Slabaugh, survives. They observed their 66th wedding anniversary on February 10.

Born in Oden IN, she was the daughter of the late Simon S. Kemp and Lena (Wagler) Kemp Graber.

A homemaker, she was a member of Pike Mennonite Church, Harrisonburg.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven children: Dorothy (Chester) Grove, Harrisonburg, VA; David (Esther) Slabaugh, Hartville, OH; LaVerne (Margaret) Slabaugh, Hartville, OH; Anna (Luke) Sensenig, New Holland, PA; William (Sharon) Slabaugh, New Holland, PA; Steven (Eunice) Slabaugh, McGaheysville, VA; Michelle (Jay) Martin, Ephrata, PA; 29 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Katie Stoll, Loogootee, IN and Rosie Miller, Montgomery, IN.

She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Sophia Slabaugh; two brothers: Leroy Kemp and David Kemp; and a sister Edith Wagler.

A viewing will be held on Monday, November 16 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Calvary Mennonite Church, 280 Pleasant Valley Rd., East Earl, PA. Viewings will also be held in Virginia on Wednesday, November 18 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. at Pike Mennonite Church, 31 Pike Church Rd., Harrisonburg, VA. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
