Don Wade Ferguson 87 was born August 19, 1927 in Sherman, Texas to Burl and Elberta Ferguson.
He went to his heavenly home on December 5, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Johnny Dockery Ferguson, daughter Donna Hurst her husband Joel, three grandchildren: Tiffany Kilgore (husband-Curtis), Jody Hurst (wife-Cara), and Dustin Hurst (wife-Kali). He also had eight great grandchildren Baylee and Brody Kilgore, Trace, Grant and Jake Hurst, and Jaeger, Gentry and Lawson Hurst.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Burlene Phillips and Jane Calhoun and grandson Tanner Hurst. He served his country in the Korean War. Don worked as a Plant Manager for Shedd's Foods until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and worked at Fire Wheel Golf Course for many years after his retirement. He was a member of South Garland Baptist Church.
Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:30 AM on Tuesday December 9th, at Williams Funeral Chapel Garland, Texas.
