Born in Charleston, June 18, 1943, he was a son of the late Rev. Thomas Cannady "T.C." Parker and Bessie Locklear Parker. Mr. Parker was formerly employed with Roberts Foundry for seventeen years, Neptune for twelve years and Greenwood Professional Medical Products. He retired from Greenwood Fabricating and Plating after over twenty-years service and still worked part-time there until his death. Mr. Parker was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt rabbit and deer, Ted also had beagles that he enjoyed training and hunting with. He treasured his time with with many-many hunting buddies and was a member of Foothills Beagle Club.
Mr. Parker was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Parker.
Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-two years of the home are two sons, Wayne Parker and wife Lisa and Tommie Parker and wife Karen; three grandchildren, Kenzie Parker, Samantha Parker and Cameron Parker, all of Greenwood; sister, Tracey Parker and husband Charlie Bumgarner of Greer; three brothers, Gerald Parker of Anderson, Benny Parker and Bobby Parker and wife Debbie, all of Greenwood.
Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park
