Services for Andrew Alan Myers, age 35, of Colorado Springs formerly of Lake County, will be 7:00 Thursday [November 12, 2015].
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 Thursday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville. Internment will take place Friday [November 13, 2015] at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Rittman, Ohio 44270.
Andrew was born Nov. 12, 1979, in Cleveland, and passed away Oct. 31, 2015, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Andrew served in the U.S. Army from 2003 - 2013 serving three tours of duty in Iraq and was awarded the Iraq Campaign Medal, five Campaign Stars, twice awarded Army Commendation Medal, three times awarded Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, awarded three times Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Medal.
Survivors are his children, Shawn Andrew Myers, and Donavin James Myers; father, Samuel Myers; sister, Jennifer (Jim) (Myers) Rose; former wife, Tina Myers; and grandfather, Samuel F. Myers.

Myers grew up in Thompson, Ohio. He enlisted in the Army in 2003 and served for 10 years. He rose to the rank of sergeant and was awarded two Army Commendation medals and three Good Conduct medals. In addition to three deployments to Iraq, he was stationed in Germany.
At the time of his administrative discharge in June 2013, he was stationed at Fort Carson outside Colorado Springs, assigned to the 1st Brigade Combat Team in the 4th Infantry Division.
