She was born in Bonnerdale, Ark., and came here in 1975 from Hot Springs, Ark., where she worked in real estate, was a school volunteer and an active member of the Republican Party. She was a life member of the American Legion Post 7 and chaired its Poppy Drive. She was a longtime member of the Largo Elks.
Survivors include three daughters, Carole Hochrein, Clearwater, Linda Hasick, Salem, S.C., and Johnetta Canavan, Tarpon Springs; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
