Jay E. Claypool, 63, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Warren, Ohio to Kester C. and Arlene Webb Claypool.
Jay owned and operated a photography and marketing consultation business.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kester C. Claypool.
Jay is survived by a son, Jason J. Claypool, Sr. (Lenora); grandchildren, Christina Sue Claypool and Jason Jeremy Claypool, Jr.; his mother, Arlene Claypool; and brothers, Terry and Christopher Claypool.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Friday, November 13 at Thruston United Methodist Church. Private burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
