(Note: Her death certificate lists her birth date as 20 Sep 1878, not 1876).

Daughter of:
James Perry Carney &
Harriet N. Durham Carney.

First wife of William Henry Morgan.

Note: Although Cora's headstone has her husband, William's, name on it in Fork Branch Cemetery (Cheswold, Kent Co, DE), (see photo at right), William is not buried here. His birth date is on the stone, but not his death date. After the death of his first wife, William married Nora/Norah Director Jackson Carney as his 2nd wife. He is actually buried with his 2nd wife in Immanuel Union (Manship) Cemetery (Cheswold, Kent Co, DE). (Click here). (The same holds true of Nora/Norah's first husband's headstone, also in Fork Branch Cemetery, which has her name on it even though she is not buried here).
