Mrs. Jennie Warfield Campbell, wife of Dr. William H.H. Campbell, died at her residence near Owings Mills on Saturday morning, November 30, 1918 after an illness of several months. Her funeral took place on Monday afternoon from the Presbyterian Church of Owings Mills, and she was laid to rest in the beautiful Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore. Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of the late Mrs. Fannie Hollingsworth Gorsuch and granddaughter of the late Dr. Jesse L. Warfield, for many years the beloved physician and friend of a number of the old citizens of Westminster and the surrounding county. Her father died when she was an infant, and she and her mother made their home with her grandfather in the residence which was torn down a few years ago for the new Farmer's and Mechanics Bank, until they moved to Baltimore while she was still a child.

She married Dr. William H.H. Campbell, of Virginia, and lived for a few years in Missouri, until they returned to Maryland and have since made their home near Owings Mills, where they both have been actively involved in church and charitable work.

She was the mother of ten children, seven of whom are still living, and with one exception were with her at the last, Major Robert M. Campbell, U.S.A., who is stationed in Mexico; Thomas Campbell, Baltimore; Prof. John G. Campbell, Hagerstown; Mrs. Francina Mortland, Boston, Mass.; Douglas Campbell, U.S.A., Boston; and Miss Elizabeth Campbell, at home. The other son, Alan Campbell, U.S.A., is with his regiment in France.
