Funeral services for Ottis Othello Shelton, 71, of Cullman were held Sunday at Williams-McCracken Funeral Home with Rev. Oneal Shelton officiating. Interment was in Garden City Cemetery. He was born on March 22, 1927 near Lexington to Edward Lee and Victoria (Caudle) Shelton. He passed away on June 12, 1998 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham. He was a retired foreman at Grief Brothers Corporation. He is survived by his wife, Effie Carolyn (Hill) Shelton; his son, Michael Shelton of Cullman; his daughters, Carol Cason, Donna Shelton, Norma Jean Shelton, and Sherry Johnson, all of Cullman; his sisters, Bula Lee "Mema" Weeks of Cullman and Mildred Newton of Anderson; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
